Fluid flow in a marginal basin

    From interpretation of 2D and 3D seismics, and well-log data, we determine the physical properties of the formation, as well as the fluids and gas expulsion modes and paths.

   These results are lately used in a 2D numerical model (illustration taken from Jochen Naeth, 2004) of the area to infer the timing of the fluids migration and the quantities expelled.

   This was a multi-lab multi-countries EC-funded project.
